IGF::CT::IGF MODIFY THIS CONTRACT DUE TO WATER INFILTRATION ISSUE AT MILE POST 7.90. THE TOTAL VALUE OF THIS MODIFICATION IS $2,300.50. THIS MODIFICATION FOR TASK ORDER RC-9A63-12-002 WILL PAY FOR THE ADDITION OF 86 TONS OF 3/4" AGGREGATE AT THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT PRICE. THE ADDITIONAL AGGREGATE IS NEEDED TO STABILIZE A SOFT SPOT CREATED IN THE ROADWAY (WITHOUT FAULT OF CONTRACTOR) DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROLLING DIP. DURING EXCAVATION OF THE DIP, WATER STARTED SEEPING UP TO THE SURFACE CAUSING THE SOFT SPOT. THE ADDITION AGGREGATE WILL PROVIDE FOR A SUITABLE AND STABLE RUNNING SURFACE. CRITICAL FUNCTION.
