MITIGATION SECTION
THE PURPOSE OF THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO SUPPORT AN EXPANSION OF THE EXISTING DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTED IN FY 2000, AND TO IDENTIFY AREAS OF WORK WHICH THE CONTRACTOR MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM DURING THE LIFE OF THIS CONTRACT. UNDER THIS CONTRACT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL OF THE NECESSARY SUPPORT FOR INVENTORYING, SCANNING, INDEXING, AND CONVERTING, THE NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM (NFIP) PAPER RECORDS INTO ELECTRONIC IMAGES. THESE IMAGES WILL ENABLE VIEWING AND PRINTING FROM DESKTOPS.
