THE CONTRACT NUMBER IN 10A ABOVE, TO PROVIDE CATALOGING AND CATALOGING SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION LIBRARIES, IS HEREBY MODIFIED TO I) EXERCISE THE OPTION TO EXTEND THIS CONTRACT FOR ITS SECOND RENEWAL TERM; II) INCREASE PRICING FOR THE SECOND RENEWAL TERM; AND III) ADD ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS. THE NEW PRICING SCHEDULE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2012. 1. EXERCISE OF OPTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION I.3.2 OF THE CONTRACT, THE SMITHSONIAN HEREBY EXERCISES ITS OPTION TO THE EXTEND THE CONTRACT FOR THE SECOND RENEWAL TERM. THE SECOND RENEWAL TERM SHALL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2012 AND END ON AUGUST 31, 2013 ("SECOND RENEWAL TERM"). 2. PRICING SCHEDULE THE PRICING SCHEDULE AS SET FORTH IN SECTION B.3.1 FOR CATALOGING SERVICES IS HEREBY INCREASED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION I.3.2 FOR THE SECOND RENEWAL TERM OF THIS CONTRACT. THE PRICING SCHEDULE SHALL BE INCREASED BY ONE AND FOUR-TENTH PERCENT (1.4%) FOR EACH LINE ITEM OF THE PRICING SCHEDULE. THE INCREASE IN THE PRICING SCHEDULE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2012. 3. ADDITIONAL FUNDING THIS CONTRACT IS HEREBY FUNDED FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS, AS FOLLOWS: SIL CATALOGING BACKLOG $50,000.00 RAMSEY CATALOGING $14,000.00 NMAI FRIESEMA CATALOGING $25,000.00 GGHC $ 3,692.00 4. TOTAL FUNDING THE TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT IS HEREBY INCREASED BY A FIRM-FIXED PRICE OF $92,692.00 FROM $506,600.00 TO $599,292.00, AS SET FORTH HEREIN. 5.
