NVISION DUAL USE AGREEMENT FOR INTERACTIVE GEOGRAPHIC RESOURCE ANALYSIS TOOL PURPOSE THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO BUILD AN INTERACTIVE SYSTEM CAPABLE OF PERFORMING ANALYSIS OF PUBLICLY AVAILABLE GEOGRAPHIC RESOURCES IN AND AROUND NASA CENTERS. THIS TOOL WILL USE A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM INCLUDING PUBLICLY AVAILABLE DATA USEFUL FOR DEVELOPMENT PLANNING. THIS SYSTEM WILL BE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE INTERACTIVE TOUCH CONTROLS WHEN DISPLAYED ON A TOUCH SCREEN. THE CAPABILITY AND PURPOSE OF THIS SYSTEM IS TO SUPPORT GROWTH-ORIENTED DECISIONS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. NVISION WILL PROVIDE AN OFF-THE-SHELF TOUCH DISPLAY SYSTEM AS A DELIVERABLE ON THE PROJECT. THE SITE SELECTION TOOL WILL ASSIST SITE SELECTION NASA OFFICIALS IN EVALUATING POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT SITES AT THE CENTER ON BEHALF OF ORGANIZATIONS SEARCHING FOR SUITABLE LOCATIONS. THIS TOOL WILL GO BEYOND THE COOKIE-CUTTER SITES USED BY OTHER AREAS WITHOUT LOSING THE ABILITY TO COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES WITH COMPETING AREAS. FOR THE PILOT AT STENNIS, NVISION WILL USE THE NASA INSTITUTIONAL GIS. THIS GIS WILL SIMPLIFY CREATING VERSIONS OF THIS TOOL AT OTHER NASA CENTERS AS THE DATA IS FAIRLY CONSISTENT ACROSS THE AGENCY. NVISION WILL USE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE DATA FOR HANCOCK COUNTY FOR THE MUNICIPAL PILOT. NOTE: MUCH OF THE DATA CONTAINED IN NASA S INSTITUTIONAL GIS IS CONSIDERED SENSITIVE OR NOT FOR GENERAL RELEASE. NVISION WILL MAINTAIN CAREFUL SEPARATION OF THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THIS TOOL TO ENSURE ALL NASA SECURITY PROTOCOLS ARE FOLLOWED THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT AND DELIVERY. NVISION S EXPERIENCE WITH THE NASA REACT EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND OUR RECENT DUAL-USE PROJECT WITH THE PROPULSION DIRECTORATE REQUIRED SIMILAR SECURITY MEASURES.
