PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO PICK UP THE EXISTING GSA FIBER FROM BUILDING 485 AND EXTEND THE FIBER TO BUILDING 411 BY THE WAY OF USING THE EXISTING UNDERGROUND DUCT BANK THAT INTERCONNECTS BOTH BUILDINGS. THE FIBER RUN WILL ALLOW THE EXISTING AND NEW HVAC ROOF TOP UNITS TO BE CONTROLLED BY OUR WHITE HOUSE SERVICE CENTER ENGINEERING SHOP REMOTELY. THIS CONNECTION IS REQUIRED TO REDUCE THE MAN HOURS FROM HAVING TO MAKE DAILY SITE VISITS TO CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT AND TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS.
