PWR REGIONAL CONTRACTING
A. PURSUANT TO FAR CLAUSE 52.217-09, THIS MODIFICATION FORMALLY EXERCISES THE GOVERNMENT'S RIGHT TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE PURCHASE ORDER FOR CONTINUATION OF SERVICES ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR. NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES: 1. THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE IS HEREBY EXTENDED, EXERCISING THE "1ST OPTION YEAR." THIS REVISES THE PERFORMANCE PERIOD TO: JANUARY 1, 2012 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2012. THE AMOUNT OF $6,125 IS ADDED TO COVER THESE SERVICES. 2. ADDITIONALLY, PARK POLICY HAS CHANGED AND NOW REQUIRES PARK CONTRACTORS TO PAY FOR THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE ISLANDS. AS THE ORIGINAL AWARD STIPULATED THAT THE PARK WOULD PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO THE ISLAND FROM THE PARK'S HEADQUARTERS, THIS MODIFICATION PROVIDES $368 IN FUNDING TO COVER THE COST OF THE CONTRACTOR'S ANTICIPATED TRANSPORTATION COSTS TO AND FROM SANTA CRUZ ISLAND FOR THE YEAR 2012. THESE ANTICIPATED COSTS COVER THE EVALUATION TRIP, THE CONTRACTOR JOBWALK, AND THE FINAL TREE INSPECTIONS. THESE COSTS ARE HEREBY AUTHORIZED TO BE ADDED TO EACH OF THE FUTURE OPTION YEAR AWARDS, IF EXERCISED. B. THE SERVICE CONTRACT ACT WAGE DETERMINATION 1977-0727, REV.39 (ATTACHMENT 03) IS REPLACED BY 1977-0727, REV. NO. 40 DATED JUNE 13, 2011.
