VELODYNE HDL-32E LIDAR - THE INTELLIGENT ROBOTICS GROUP IS WORKING ON THE HUMAN EXPLORATION TELE-ROBOTICS PROJECT. IT RESEARCHES WAYS TELE-ROBOTIC CAN BE USED TO IMPROVE CREW AND GROUND CONTROL EFFICIENCY. THE SURFACE TELE-ROBOTIC PROJECT EXAMINES THE CONTROL OF SURFACE ROBOTS BY CREW ON-ORBIT. THE HET PROJECT IS PREPARING TO CONDUCT OPERATIONS USING THE K10 ROVERS. THE ROVERS REQUIRE UPDATED LIGHT DETECTION AND RANGING (LIDAR) SENSORS TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT.
