QUALITY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES ARE OFFERED THROUGH SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS, INTERACTIVE DEMONSTRATIONS AND TOURS, CLASSROOM PROJECTS, MUSEUM OUTREACH, AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS. OVER HALF OF THE CENTER S VISITORS ARE SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN. THE CENTER PROVIDES EXTENSIVE OUTREACH TO BOTH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND TO TOURIST AUDIENCES AND PROVIDES SIGNIFICANT EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO THE YOUTH OF THE REGION, STIMULATING THEIR INTEREST IN SCIENCE AND IN AMERICA'S AERONAUTICS AND SPACE PROGRAMS AND ASSOCIATED CAREERS.
